  • Button Mushrooms: 10 ounces (Sliced)

Cooking Method

  • Unwrap the liver, and place it flat on a sheet of clean paper towels. Some people like to cook the liver and then slice it, so you can also do that.
  • Soak the beef liver in a bowl or a dish of milk from half an hour to an hour.
  • Apply pepper and salt seasoning to the liver gently. Leave the liver at room temperature, and prepare the other ingredients.
  • Cut bacon and fry it in the pan and 2 tbsp of butter. When the bacon is crispy, please remove it from the pan and drain them on a paper towel. Leave the bacon grease and apply a butter coating to the pan.
  • Next, slice the onions, and saute them in the butter and bacon grease until they develop a soft texture.
  • Thirty seconds later, add garlic to the onion mixture.
  • Put the garlic and the onion on one side of the pan, and don’t expose them to the heat.
  • Switch the heat to medium, and add a tbsp of butter to the pan.

  • Fry the other side for about 3 minutes, and then cut into the liver to see if it is cooked or not. If the liver still has a dark red color, keep cooking it.
  • Once cooked, place the liver slices on a plate.
  • Smother the liver with the bacon slices that you cooked previously.
  • Serve the dish.
