- Baguette: 1
- Garlic Powder: ½ tsp.
Put the oven on 400 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Peel the shallots and then chop them.
Similarly, peel the garlic cloves and mince them.
In a medium skillet, on medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté the shallots until they start to caramelize; this process should take 3 to 4 minutes.
Pour White Wine into the mixture, and stir, until the Wine evaporates completely.
The wine evaporation process should not take more than 2 minutes.
Slice the Baguette into slices (1/4-inch thick); take an aluminum foil, and place it on a baking sheet.
