All you have to do is thoroughly mix kosher salt, garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and sweet paprika in a small bowl. You may also want to add some cayenne pepper to give their country-style ribs an extra kick.   

You may also want to add your favorite barbecue sauce but this recipe is already full of flavor with or without it. But if you really love BBQ sauce, there are two different ways for you to use it — some people love using the sauce as a dip, but if you’re a fan of sticky ribs, you can also coat your ribs. This process should be done after baking your ribs but before broiling them, which will cause both store-bought and homemade BBQ sauce to caramelize, which tastes irresistible! 

The Best Boneless Country-Style Pork Ribs

This boneless pork ribs recipe is super easy to make using just a few simple ingredients, which results in lots of flavor and is cooked to perfection.   • 3 to 4 lbs boneless country-style pork ribs
  • 2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 sliced onion
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • Additional barbecue sauce to use for dipping


  1. Start preparing your preheated oven by leaving it at 300 degrees, then line a 13-inch by 9-inch baking dish using aluminum foil then spread olive oil or nonstick cooking spray. 
  2. Pat your country pork ribs dry and place them in a single layer into your baking dish. 
  3. Inside a small bowl, combine all the dry spices listed above and mix them until well combined. 
  4. Take your spicy rub and rub it on all sides of the ribs. 
  5. Place your sliced onion over your ribs and pour water into the bottom of your dish. 
  6. Cover it using aluminum foil and allow it to bake for a couple of hours — 2 should be fine. 
  7. Remove your roasting pan from your oven and check if it’s fork tender. If it’s not, then be sure to cook it for a further 30 minutes. If it’s good to go then remove most of the liquid using a baster. 
  8. Spread your store-bought or homemade barbecue sauce over your ribs and bake it uncovered for another 30 minutes.
