Now, place it at a warm temperature for 24 hours, and then your beans are ready for Refrigeration.
Now, take an air-tight plastic container and transfer the dried moth beans into it. Your moth beans should be dried before Refrigeration because if they are not dried, it will result in mold growth due to moisture absorption.
Can You Freeze Moth Beans
Yes, you can freeze the moth bean as they have a good shelf life, so freezing them won’t cause any harm, but we don’t recommend that as soggy beans don’t taste good. Keep one thing in mind that as you freeze them, the texture deteriorates so, if you are okay with that, you can store them.
You would feel the difference when you bought them fresh and once you store them. So that’s why we don’t recommend freezing them for long. We highly recommend you to buy them when you only intend to use them in cooking. Although you can store them, they won’t be crunchy anymore.
