2. Trondro Gasy

An array of spices, green vegetables, and meat stew are the ingredients of Madagascar’s national dish. Served with watercress, mustard greens, and chilies, it has a peppery, spicy taste. Romazava is served with rice or as a lunch and dinner dish.
Ingredients like carrots, green beans, cabbage, and onions form this very delicious curry. It is seasoned with vinaigrette to add sweetness and sourness. Among the city dwellers, Lasary refers to a condiment made of pickled mangoes and lemons.
Among the vegetables in this hearty soup are turnips, green beans, tomatoes, carrots, green onions, potatoes, and leeks. The ingredients are simmered with meat bones for extra flavor, then puréed into a thick and smooth soup. Sakay or baguettes are sometimes served with seasonings that can be adjusted to individual preferences.
7. Mofo Gasy
Breakfast is served with Mofo Gasy, a sweetened rice flour bread. In a greased mold, a batter of sweetened rice flour is baked over charcoal. As a result of the molds in which the bread is baked, it has a circular shape.
8. Bonbon Coco
Reunion island is famous for its Bonbon Coco Candy. Granulated coconut, sugar, water, and just a pinch of salt are combined over medium heat to create a thick, sticky mixture. This liquid is shaped into chewy balls after it has evaporated.
9. Akoho sy voanio
Chicken pieces with coconut milk, tomatoes, onions, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper are combined with coconut milk in this traditional chicken dish, also known as poulet au coco. Salt, pepper, and lemon juice are applied to the meat before marinating, then added to a sautéed onion and garlic mixture. In addition to coconut milk and tomatoes, the heat is reduced when the chicken is almost done, and the ginger and tomatoes are added to the pan.
10. Vary amin anana
Collard greens or other leafy greens such as Swiss chard or kale combine with onions, ginger, tomatoes, oil, water, and rice to make the dish. You simmer the ingredients for as long as the water absorbs or until the ingredients are tender. Wintertime often means eating Vary amin anana for dinner.
